🍔Chilton County Schools Summer Feeding Program
The Chilton County School System is making a significant impact on local families this summer through its Summer Bulk Feeding Program, providing more than 2,000 meals to children in the community.
The program, which operates through pickup locations at Clanton Intermediate School and Jemison Intermediate School, ensures that children continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session. Meal kits include breakfast and lunch items featuring fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk for children 18 years old and younger.
“We know that many families depend on school meals during the school year, and we want to make sure children continue receiving nutritious food throughout the summer,” said Tasha Hayes
The success of the program is made possible through the dedication of school employees, volunteers, and community partners who have helped provide 2,000 meals to local children and families.
